Countdown clock, response counter & correct answer

December 10th, 2011 by Soundbite Pro in Audience Response System Guidelines

Below are some features that will enhance all question slides.

Countdown Clock

When the question appears on screen that is when the system will start reregistering votes from the keypads. To give people an indication how long they have to vote its a good idea to use a countdown clock. This simply counts down from a specified time how long people have to vote.
We can even include music to the countdown to liven up the atmosphere.

Response counter

Your question slides can also include a response counter. This is a real time indicator that counts the votes as they come in. This will indicate to the presenter how many votes has been cast but will also make the voting session more interesting to the delegates.

Correct answer

Some questions asked will have a correct answer. We can add an indicator to the correct answer that will appear when polling has completed either before or after the results of how people voted have been displayed.
