Client Comments

Just wanted to say again a big thanks for all you did over the weekend and leading up to it also. As usual it’s great working with you and we really took it up a couple of notches. I was very proud of what we delivered.

Brief

To provide a full production of the annual CVM conference. The arts centre auditorium had some basic in house technical equipment we could use including lighting and all the audio cable infrastructure and equipment suspending points.

The conference included presenters, live music band and on screen visuals including presentations and films.

Solution

Audio

The audio was to be high impact and high energy for the music band! We used D&B Q7 speaker system that was both very compact but yet delivered very high quality and high impact audio quality that really got the event rocking! The speakers were flown from the theatre lighting bars, as there was no space to put them on stands and to also give sufficient height.
The audio was controlled via a Yamaha LS9 digital mixing desk that used minimum space and took a short amount of time to set up. The band were all given there own foldback speaker monitors all on seperate mix.
We took DVD and computer audio feeds and the presenters used radio microphones.

Visuals

We used a large 16ft x 9ft fast fold screen for the visuals. We rear projected onto the screen using a 7000 lumen Sanyo projector with wide-angle lens. The visuals were controlled via a Extron ISS506 seamless vision switcher that faded the DVD, presentations and the camera feeds on screen.

Lighting

All the lighting used was in house but operated by our own technicians. We added white fiber fleece scrim cloth as part of the stage set and these were unlighted. This was a very inexpensive but effective stage dressing.
