Brief

To provide Audio Visual support for an annual conference on a ship which sailed from Liverpool to Dublin. We needed to provide a simple but effective solution due to time restraints on the set up and pack down.

Solution

Audio

The room was already equipped with an audio system. We just needed to provide:

• Additional microphones and DI boxes for the music band
• Tie clip and hand held radio microphones and lectern microphone for presenters
• Audio feeds from DVD and CD players
• Our own mixing desk to enable a different mix position

Visuals

The room had a very low ceiling with a number of pillars which restricted viewing. It also had an upper balcony area.

• Used a number of 50" and 42" Plasma screens placed around the room. These had to be tied to the pillars incase of rough seas!
• Laptops for playback of video clips, PowerPoint presentations and song words
• DVD Player
• Vision switcher that allowed smooth fading between DVDs, laptops and cameras
• Camera for filming onto DVD and also displaying presenters on the plasmas
• Display screen for presenters
