Brief

To provide a cost effective, British weatherproof outdoor stage complete with covering audio system and power. For an outdoor Good Friday service orginised by the local churches. Expected turnout to be around 1000 - 1500 people.

Solution

Audio

  • Directional and high power audio system to allow long coverage throws down the high street. We used D&B Q7 top speakers and D&B QSub for sub speakers. These were mounted on high winch stands which gave the speakers plenty of height
  • Onstage musicians foldbacks
  • All was controlled via a Yamaha digital LS9 mixing desk

Staging & Drapes

  • Provided by 1159 productions the stage covering was a simple open ended marquee that was held down with water barrels which allows it to be suitable on all surfaces both grass and concrete. The stage was standard heavy-duty steel dec.
